Hunting rates at Backwoods Retreat are in addition to basic cabin rental prices.

 

• Deer Bow Hunting season is September 26, 2009 - February 7, 2010.
• Hunting rate is $50.00 a day, per hunter.
• Deer Gun Season is November 30,2009 - December 6, 2009.
• Hunting rate is $50.00 a day, per hunter.
• Deer Gun Season: Extra weekend is December 19, 2009 - December 20, 2009.
• Hunting rate is $50.00 a day, per hunter.
• Wild Turkey Fall Season is October 10, 2009 - November 29, 2009.
• Hunting rate is $30.00 a day, per hunter.
• Wild Turkey Spring Season is April 19, 2010 - May 16, 2010.
• Hunting rate is $30.00 a day, per hunter.

　

These rates are for the 2009-2010 hunting season. ALL HUNTERS MUST HAVE A VALID OHIO HUNTING LICENCE. Please visit the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Wildlife website for information on obtaining a license and current hunting regulations.

 

All hunters must agree to a sign a hunting waiver, and fill out a permission to hunt on private land form issued by the state of Ohio.

 

Deer Haven Retreat and Scenic View Retreat share 160 acres of private land. There is a maximum of four hunters allowed on this property at a time.

 

Nature’s Retreat is located on 25 acres of private land. There is a maximum of two hunters allowed on this property.

 

Hunters must stay with in the property boundaries. No hunting is allowed within 300’ of any cabin.
